CHURCHES OUTSIDE CITY WALLS St Peter’s church was mentioned for the first time in 1074. Early Christian elements that are built into the church are: capitals, transom and stone bars.

St Mihovila (Trg svetog Mihovila, Omiš) - link
CHURCHES WITHIN CITY WALLS St Mihovil’s church was built at the beginning of the 7th century and the church tower was built in the 8th century. There are gothic, renaissance and baroque elements on the church. Works of art in the church are: “luneta” showing the Annunciation from the 15th century; Jacop Palma Junior’s Silazak Svetoga Duha and Kamenovanje sv. Stjepana; Matteo Ingolij’s Gospa od Ružarija; Matteo Ponzonij – Poncuna’s Bogorodica s Djetetom, sv. Jure, sv. Jelena i donator na oltarnoj pali; Juraj Petrovic’s gothic cross from 15th century and baroque chest for documents.

St Holly Spirit and St Roko’s church (Jurja Šubica 1, Omiš) - link
The Holly Spirit church and St Roko’s church are divided by stone staircase. The city watch was built within the complex.

St Luke (U Luci, Omiš)
St Luke’s church, mausoleum of Draškovic – Bonitia family, was built in 1618. It is positioned at the old Omiš churchyard near St Mary’s church.

Franciscan Monastery (Put Skalica 16, Omiš) - link
In 1716 Franciscans that had run away from Turkish aggression got a land with an old church Gospe od Karmela on it. Near the church Franciscans built their monastery in 1718. The new church is a part of the monastery.
